Shift planning tool
The client hereby invites to a competition for the conclusion of an agreement for the purchase of a new solution for shift planning for the municipality's employees who work in shifts. A full description of the delivery follows from the appendices to the basis for the competition. Fredrikstad municipality has approx. 100 departments with approx. 1,500 employees where employees work in shifts. The purpose of the acquisition is to streamline the work of preparing rotations in Fredrikstad municipality by acquiring a new solution for rotation planning. Our goal in the long term is to be able to centralize large parts of the shift planning, and this new solution will be an important piece in this work. In order for there to be real efficiency gains, we are dependent on the solution being able to handle most of the variations inherent in shift work. For example, different absences, rotation patterns, adaptations, weekend solutions, etc. We want a fully developed solution for future planning. The possibility of participation from the employees is important in the work to recruit and retain personnel.
