• Description:
• Stavneset fire station - Roof worker Reroofing of residential buildings and outbuildings, a new suspended ceiling and new slate roofing must be laid. The description includes slate in size 10x16" (lap slate/drop slate). Existing fittings on the roof including gutters and downspout must be replaced in its entirety. Some painting work (surface treatment) of wooden doors is also included. Existing slate must be packed on pallets and prepared for transport. Options are included in the description (roofing work at outbuildings) which are priced at providers and which is part of the basis for the competition. Clarifications about this are decided before the contract is concluded. The Coastal Administration makes the lighthouse keeper's residence available for accommodation to the contractor during the construction period. Electricity and water are installed in the residence, but not full toilet. Simple outdoor facilities can be found in the immediate vicinity of the housing. Stavneset lighthouse is land-locked, there is a footpath from the car park and the distance to the lighthouse station is approx. 1.3 kilometres. The footpath is narrow and cannot be driven by car. Transport of equipment and material can/must probably be carried out by ATV on the footpath or possibly by helicopter. Bidders are obliged to familiarize themselves with local conditions that may have an impact on prize-bearing items.
