Description:
Strusshamn Culture Centre, Sprinkler system Multiconsult has been engaged by Askøy Municipality to design sprinkler systems in Strusshamn cultural center - Sjoddien, ref. fire engineering concept 10251130-RIBr-RAP-001. Strusshamn Cultural Center - Sjoddien consists of the buildings The Mill House, the Packing House, the Canteen Building, the Laundry, the Granen, the Farneriet, the Carbonization House and a power station (not sprinkled). The building has a total area of approx. 4770m². Mølle- og Pakkhuset is today sprinkler protected by a dry system (dry valve is placed in cone under the stairs in Pakkhuset's 1st floor) which is to be dismantled in its entirety. The same applies to the wet system that protects the Dyeery and the Pre-action system that protects the associated escape route (Both installed in 2019, where valves are in the sprinkler room on the same plan). The entire building mass must be sprinkled.
