- UDI needs to know how our users perceive information that we communicate to them in writing on our websites, in electronic application systems, on e-mails and paper. As a part of examining this, we need to figure out what methods we can identify what prerequisites our users have for finding, understanding, assessing, and using the information we communicate in writing to them? What the selected user groups actually understand from what we write to them? We will use this knowledge to obtain systematic knowledge about our user groups and make concrete improvements to our written information, so that, together with our other means of the information work, it becomes more accurate. UDI has implemented several measures to make our services more user-friendly in recent years, but we still lack important knowledge on what concrete assumptions some user groups and people actually have to understand information we communicate to them in writing on our website, in emails and on paper. We would like to find out if we can create a suitable method(s) to find out what it is our users really understand from what we are writing to them. Furthermore, what prerequisites must be present for them to be able to find, understand, assess and use this information in an application process.
