- The purpose of this procurement is to find a private collaborative partner that would like to contribute to establishing a new and attractive swimming offer in Vågan municipality. The aim is to establish a swimming facility that contributes to good public health, a desire to live and stay in the area, new residents moving in and more visitors. For an island municipality where both children and adults spend much of their time travelling on and near the water, swimming education and skills are also linked to safety. The facility will ensure that all students at the schools in Vågan receive swimming lessons and will have sufficient capacity to ensure that all students receive an equal amount of swimming lessons. The sports organisation must also have the necessary facilities and access to the swimming pool as it will be eligible for lottery funds.
