Description:
Short Description: Department of Information Security and Communication Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology establishes Hardware Reverse Engineering (HRE) Lab at Gjøvik Campus. The HRE lab will facilitate practical experimentation, research and knowledge creation and dissemination and educate and train the future generation of hardware security in academia, authorities and industry by creating new knowledge and best practice. As part of the HRE laboratory, we establish Page Channel Analysis (SCA) Setup and error injection setup. Side-duct analysis tools should be able to extract and record traces from power, electromagnetic radiation, timing and radio frequency for microcontrollers, smart cards and FPGA-based systems. The error injection setup should support voltage errors and electromagnetic errors for microcontrollers, smart cards and FPGA-based built-in systems.
