The Nordic Sea Program - information on upcoming competition
The competition will be announced during August. The Nordic marine program aims to meet the planetary triple crisis, which includes climate change, loss of biodiversity and pollution, and which has serious consequences for the sea. The program is rooted in the Vision of the Nordic Council of Ministers 2030 and emphasizes the importance of sustainable management and conservation of marine environments as part of the goal "A Green Nordic." During the sea program, the Nordic Council of Ministers will finance projects with the aim of increasing knowledge of climate change significance for Nordic marine areas or parts of these, possible solutions for adapting to climate change and improving the condition of ecosystems and biodiversity in Nordic marine and coastal areas.
