Tenders are invited to the top system for street and roads
Short description: Oslo municipality at the city environment (BYM) invites to open tender competition in connection with the acquisition of the top system for street and road lights. Bym is responsible for most of the public lighting in the city. This means, among other things: • 60,000 lighting fixtures for roads, streets and urban rooms • 5,000 lighting fixtures for light trails • 840 power distribution cabinet connected top system for control • Power consumption for road lights amounts to approx. 21 GWh / yearmet introduction of intelligent lighting, where the Oslo municipality has been a pioneer, it is currently installed approx. 30,000 smart and dimmable luminaires. The total plan on the introduction of the intelligent lighting builds up under the goals of energy efficient operations in line with the objectives of Oslo as European environmental capital 2019 and a "smart, safe and green" city, and achievement of climate goals. Procurement of a new top system is part of the overall renewal of street and road control.
