• Total contract with cooperation - Skatepark in Kjøita - Kristiansand Kristiansand municipality is to establish a skate park at Kjøita. The project is to be carried out as a total contract with interaction, where contractor, advisers and builder work closely together to ensure optimal solutions with regard to quality, functionality and cost-effectiveness. The delivery includes design and concept development of the skate park, detailed engineering and planning, as well as the construction of a modern skate park for street skating in cast-in-place concrete. IN in addition, adaptation and treatment of the terrain towards the adjacent canal and surrounding footpaths and cycleways is included. The purpose is to establish an attractive and functional skatepark that meets high requirements for ease of use, safety and aesthetics. the area is located directly east of the city center and borders the road, footpaths and cycle paths as well as the Kjøitakanalen. The area is regulated as a free area and is currently built up as a grass pitch for football. The total area is approx. 2,000 m², of which 1,200-1,500 m² is considered suitable for the skate facility. Objectives and requirements It is a stated goal from the skate community that the facility should be certified by World Skate as a C-class (Competition Class) facility for Street-style, in the category for World Cup events and up to Olympic qualification. In order to to achieve this, the facility must be built according to World Skate's technical requirements and standards.
