Total contract - Craft House at Follo Museum
The assignment applies to the construction of the House of House - a new workshop building with associated operating building located at the Follo Museum at Drøbak. The measure is part of a planned craft yard at today's open -air museum, but this assignment only includes the construction of the craft's house. The craft's house becomes one of three buildings that together form a "craftsmanship". The purpose of the building is to create a professional meeting place that promotes training, knowledge sharing and recruitment to traditional Norwegian crafts. The craft's house will facilitate activities for craftsmen, students, apprentices, knowledge intermediaries and homeowners, and contribute to the conservation and continuation of craft traditions. The building will have high architectural quality and be adapted to the existing main building at the Follo Museum, both in form and expression.
