- Voss herad will build a new main fire station at Tvildemoen in Voss, with good quality and longevity. Heradet has an order from the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority that a new main fire station must be in place by 1 August 2024. During 2023, a preliminary project for the fire station has been drawn up in parallel, which will now become the basisfor the tendering of turnkey contracts. Emphasis has been placed on environmentally friendly and sustainable materials with a low climate footprint, and use wood and solid wood. The development site is characterized by scrub and small forest, mainly pine forest, which is characteristic of Tvildemoen and the surrounding area. The plan area is at the top ofthe three plateaus at Tvildemoen.
