- Short Description: The Environment Directorate shall enter into an agreement with an operator on user support and daily operation of the deer register (www.jortenilregisteret.no and the apps fall game and set and shot). The operator must have support responsibility for the database, apps and web solutions. The technical operation of the deer will register is not included in the agreement, but is taken care of by a separate technical supplier. The main users of the deer will register are public administration, research institutions, licensees and deer hunters. The main tasks for the operating operator are: • User support • Assess and describe the need for further development of the system • User testing of the system • Reporting and dissemination • Managing labeling tags The provider is to note that work on harvestable game should be transferred from the Environment Directorate to the Directorate of Agriculture. It is not clear from what year or date this will happen, but a probable entry into force may be January 1, 2025.
