- VA remediation Berget - Entreprise EVA03 Helgeroa, Bergegata, Hekkvegen, Greteslund, Stubben, Hollavegen and Briskemyrvegen - Nome municipality Nome municipality will clean up existing VA lines in the residential area Berget in Ulefoss as well as disconnect private sludge separators. The residential area Berget was developed in the 1950s. The municipal water supply system consists of AF pipes in concrete and main water pipes in asbestos cement and cast iron. As a result of limited capacity in the sewage network, the homes in the area have their own sludge separators.Entreprisen comprises a total of approx. 2,000 meters of VA ditch. Of this, there are approx. 1,250 meters of main ditch in the roads Helgeroa, Bergegata, Hekkvegen, Greteslund, Stubben, Hollavegen and Briskemyrvegen. There is also an option for controlled drilling and connection of a number of properties in Hollavegen. The work is planned to start in August 2026 with completion by 1 November 2027.
