- Several publicly owned waste companies in northern Norway are going to jointly purchase waste bags to be used for their collection of household waste. The bags are transparent with prints in various colors and patterns, and must be distributed to all residents who will use them to dispose of food, paper, plastic and residual waste. The collected bags must then be sorted mechanically in an optibag system. The quality requirement for the bags is therefore significantly higher than normal for waste bags, especially considering that these are to be used in arctic regions.
