- Tenders are invited to wind turbines to Sand0y Windraft AS
Short description: Sandøy Vindkraft AS is considering replacing existing wind turbines with new and larger capacity of about 800 -900 kW at max operational wind speed over the turbine. It is the contractor's responsibility to remove the existing turbine generators and deliver them in a suitable stock. Existing towers and foundations should be retained. The towers must probably be extended somewhat before the new turbines can be mounted. One has set a limit on height to the turbine hub of 60 m from the ground and an increase of the wing pen diameter from 46 to 56m. Installations in transformers and networks are performed by either Sandøy Nett AS or Sandøy Energi AS.
