Description : Sandøy Vindkraft AS is considering to replace the existing wind turbines with new and larger turbines with a capacity of approx. 800-900 kW with the maximum operative wind strength over the turbine. It will be the tenderer's responsibility to remove the existing turbine generators and deliver them to an appropriate storage facility. The existing towers and foundations are to be kept. The towers must probably be extended somewhat before the new turbines can be assembled. We have set a limit on the height of the turbines' nave of 60 m from the ground, and an increase in the wing span's diameter from 46 to 56 m. The installations in the transformer and network will be carried out by either Sandøy Nett AS or Sandøy Energi AS.
