• Description:
• Winter maintenance Orkland municipality must procure winter maintenance services to ensure good and predictable accessibility and traffic safety for all groups of road users traveling along the municipal road network. By that is meant driveway, road, pavement, bus pockets, square, traffic island, turnpike, parking lot, car parks, access to municipal VA facilities and pockets and the like. Private land and private roads/entrances are not included in the municipality's plowing scheme. Winter operations include ploughing, spreading, clean-up. Snow removal is carried out after ordering. Special focus areas in winter are safe school roads, gentle road users, bus lanes and traffic safety. The value of the acquisition is estimated at: NOK 65,000,000 ex. The volume is an estimate and is not binding client. Apprentices: The client has assessed the procurement against the apprentice regulations, cf. § 7 of the Procurement Act, and concluded that there are no requirements for apprentices in this procurement as the main element of the contract does not include work where there is relevant to use labor with professional or apprentice certificates, cf. the Apprenticeship Regulations § 6 (3).
